Orr’s rookie comes in two versions, and one sells for several times the other. How to tell them apart, and real auction results for each.

The 1966-67 Topps hockey set was sold in Canada with English and French backs. Topps also tested an all-English version in a small part of the United States. The "USA Test" cards have lighter wood-grain fronts and are far scarcer, so they sell for much more.
Both versions have dark wood-grain borders that show wear easily, and centring is often off. Any Orr rookie above a PSA 7 is a serious card.

Questions collectors ask
- How do I know if my Orr rookie is the USA Test?
- The Test card’s back is English only and the wood-grain on the front is lighter. A grading company will confirm which one it is on the label.
