The 2026 price list (US dollars)
PSA paused all of its Value tiers on June 2, 2026, because of a backlog of close to 10 million cards. In September it opened a Standard tier at $59.99 per card, with a turnaround of 90 to 100 business days and a $1,000 maximum declared value. The $79.99 tier remained, at roughly 70 to 80 business days.
Faster tiers cost more, from about $149 per card for Express up to several hundred dollars for the quickest services, each with a higher declared-value limit. If you declare a card above its tier’s limit, PSA moves it to the right tier and charges that fee. Shipping, insurance and any membership fee are extra.
These numbers move often. Check PSA’s submission page for today’s tiers before you send anything. Submitting from Canada? Use PSA Canada, which prices in Canadian dollars and handles customs.
Is a card worth grading?
A simple test: look up recent sold prices for your card in the grade you realistically expect (be honest; most cards are not 10s) and in raw condition. If the graded price minus the raw price is comfortably more than the grading fee plus shipping, grade it. If not, sell it raw or keep it.
- Worth it: key rookies of stars, vintage cards in nice condition, anything you might sell for a few hundred dollars or more.
- Rarely worth it: base cards from the junk wax era, modern base cards of non-stars, and cards with visible wear.
