PSA Canada: How to Get Your Cards Graded in Canada

PSA opened a Canadian centre in Mississauga in October 2025 after tariffs stopped direct submissions. How Canadians get cards to PSA now.

By Card Shows & Shops · October 22, 2026

What changed

In March 2025, after US tariffs took effect, PSA stopped taking direct online submissions from Canada. Canadians could still go through PSA’s Halifax drop-off and PSA authorized dealers, but sending cards to the US yourself meant paying duty on the way down and back.

On October 20, 2025, PSA Canada went live, with a receiving centre in Mississauga, Ontario. It moves cards across the border in bulk under a temporary import bond, so Canadian collectors can submit without dealing with customs or duties themselves.

Your options now

  • PSA Canada (Mississauga): submit online to the Canadian centre or drop off in person. Check PSA Canada’s online submission centre for the current service levels and prices in Canadian dollars.
  • PSA authorized dealers in Canada: many card shops submit for customers. Ask at a card shop near you.
  • On-site grading at big shows: PSA has offered on-site grading at the Toronto Sport Card Expo, with a per-customer card limit. Watch the Ontario card show calendar.
  • Shipping to the US yourself: possible, but expect to deal with duties both ways. Most Canadians no longer do this.

Before you submit

Grading costs real money and PSA’s cheapest tiers have been paused at times because of a large backlog; see what PSA grading costs. Grade the cards whose value in a high grade is clearly worth more than the fee. If you are not sure, KSA is a Canadian alternative for lower-value cards.

Questions collectors ask

Is there a PSA location in Canada?
Yes. PSA opened a Canadian submission centre in Mississauga, Ontario, on October 20, 2025, and has had a drop-off in Halifax.
Do I pay duty sending cards to PSA from Canada?
Not if you submit through PSA Canada, which handles the border crossing in bulk. Shipping directly to PSA in the US can mean duty both ways.
